A 3 hr hour drive and an hour hike into the mountains to visit the Kayaw hill tribe. Also known as the Bre tribe (meaning messy hair!) There is only one woman remaining who knows how to make jewellery. It is mainly the retired women that make the #jewellery for the rest of the family now Made in aluminium as they can’t afford silver. Here Simtaow was making an ear cuff- she knocked it up in 20 minutes whilst I sat their with her 4 daughters and 3 generations giggling away. ?❤️ #roxonajourney #travelwithapurpose #myanmar
