Chilean Flamingos taking flight in one of the many lakes of Parque Patagonia in Valle Chacabuco. This area was one of Chile’s largest sheep ranches and is now protected by the help from @tompkins_conservation. The Chacabuco valley serves as a corridor to the Argentine steppe to the east, where the birds head for the winter.
