Hello, @giuligartner here sharing my last photo of my New Zealand trip. After a 3 hour hike, that involved climbing countless steep stairs and tramping through the snow, we reached the Mueller hut. I was surprised how much snow there was around but the snowy mountain tops and glaciers where the perfect setting for the red mountain hut. There is nothing quite like watching the sun set and rise in such a spectacular and calm scenery. The frustrating thing about it, is that no photo is going to resemble the beauty I felt when I looked at these snow masses making me feel small and insignificant. I really tried to absorbed and preserve the moment in my mind’s eye because I knew that no photograph could recreate what this place made me feel. I still get chills thinking about that early metallic glow, then the snow slowly turning pastel pink and the countless patterns showing on the mountains surface. Most memorable morning of this trip!
