The Met hosted a press presentation at the Galleria Colonna in Rome, Italy, ahead of the spring 2018 Costume Institute exhibition, "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination." The exhibition will be presented in two of The Met's locations: The Met Fifth Avenue and uptown at The #MetCloisters. The thematic exhibition will feature a dialogue between fashion and masterworks of medieval art in The Met collection to examine fashion's ongoing engagement with the devotional practices and traditions of Catholicism.
