They did many productions in California, and then were brought to NY to be the first resident theatrical company at the newly built @lincolncenter. . I never met Bob. He was the former lover of my now deceased friend, Frank Bayer. I only knew Bob through pictures in photo albums that he meticulously created, which are now in my possession. I have snapshots of his life which I wanted to share. I've painted stories on the photos of this young, vibrant, loving man, whose life was cut short when he succumbed to complications from AIDS on December 6, 1995 at the age of 58. Bob had no descendants so I'm happy i can share a small piece of his life here. . Bob appeared on Broadway in many productions including O'Neill's 'A Touch of the Poet' with Donald Moffat and Nancy Marchand. He was in many films, including Three Days of the Condor, Halloween, and Starman. On television, Bob appeared in almost 60 shows from Mash to Hill Street Blues to Dallas to Magnum PI. His TV work gave him the money to pursue his passion of gardening, where he maintained the most beautiful roofdeck on 71st Street.”–– by Mike Doyle . #whatisrememberedlives #theaidsmemorial #aidsmemorial #neverforget #endaids .
