In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, we're spotlighting lesser-known heroes—from recent and ancient history—whose work helped pave the way for other women. Grace Hopper, known to some as "Amazing Grace," was a computer scientist and United States Naval rear admiral. In addition to being the first woman to win the National Medal of Technology and Innovation, Hopper was also posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Obama in 2016. ✊✊✊
