Thank you @mywhah and @mashvet for the good care and attention today/tonight. Brody is a deep and connected part of our family. Unexpected small surgery tonight—he’s ok—but a sudden reminder of how animal-beings occupy our hearts and homes in the most quiet and meaningful of ways. In the space of a few hours, when a health issue appears, the eye-rolling tedium of mundane taking-care-of disappears, and suddenly it’s only about the unconditional love that animals so freely give. And how we might possibly give it back. ❤️❤️❤️
