We might just take a seat for a moment to admire the view - back in a jiffy! This otherworldly place is @lordhoweislandtourism, which is a two-hour flight from @sydney or @visitbrisbane. The island is a volcanic remnant, meaning it's packed with nutrients which, combined with the beautifully mild subtropical climate, has resulted in a lush paradise of plants and bird life. If you're a bird watcher, you'll be in heaven - more than 200 species of birds have been recorded here, of which 32 species breed on the island. Have your binoculars handy!
