7 years already since the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. It is so easy to see ourselves forgetting how helpless, powerless, and hopeless we felt back then, now that we are blessed to be living every day without fear or danger in Tokyo. That day was supposed to be just another normal day, but it was not. Since then, March 11th has been and always will be an emotion-charged day that reminds me of the importance to take a step back and appreciate the little things I tend to forget.
