Bravo @scully_chef! Just back from dinner at @scullyrestaurant where I think I ate everything on the menu. The four dishes here are, from top left: Italian Autumn Greens (well, that’s the Australian in Scully speaking!) with red miso and sunflower seeds, a beautifully bitter sensation; the soon-to-be signature Arepa with aubergine and bergamot labneh; chocolate sorbet with pistachio and tonka; Frozen Ginger Marshmallow with rhubarb. And what isn’t pictured here, but also deeply wonderful were the puffed beef tendons with oyster mayo; crisp fried baby artichoke with black shallot aioli; forbidden rice with vegetable XO and parsnips; octopus with avocado and black garlic; the most incredible halibut with wild garlic and vadouvan; and some intense beef short rib pastrami with horseradish and pistachio. I’m as full as a person can be, but so uplifted by the glorious cooking. #scully #scullyrestaurant #thisislondon
