Some from then, some from now- and if you have any suggestions about what's next, leave us a comment telling us who.⠀ ⠀ The Undertones by The Undertones ⠀ ⠀ The legendary Punk band - who rose to international fame when 'Teenage Kicks' was the tune John Peel thought 'f**k it' and played it twice. Scroll back to see our post dedicated to the moment.⠀ ⠀ Calm Girls EP by Pillow Queens⠀ ⠀ A Dublin based all-girl band - this E.P. is as emotional and moody as the subjects it reflects upon. Always a bonus to hear the Irish accent throughout too.⠀ ⠀ Jailbreak by Thin Lizzy⠀ ⠀ An underrated band from the 70's with a handful of legendary songs- these guys are pioneers of hard rock. This album boasts all the classics- 'Dancing in the Moonlight' and 'Jailbreak' are top.⠀ ⠀ Loveless by My Bloody Valentine ⠀ ⠀ Another Dublin based band, this time formed in 1983- and were one of the best Shoegaze-Post-Punk bands of it's time. Loveless was their second album and it took 2 years to make.⠀ ⠀ A Tonic for the Troops by The Boomtown Rats⠀ ⠀ Better known as Bob Geldof's band- the Boomtown Rats released this album in 1978 and reached their first UK No.1 with 'Like Clockwork'.⠀ ⠀ Autre Monde EP by Autre Monde⠀ ⠀ This EP was released last November, and you can instantly tell of their influences, which range from Can, Television an Pere Ubu. Post Punk delight.⠀ ⠀ If I Should Fall From Grace With God by The Pogues⠀ ⠀ Probably one of the most well known Irish bands, and this album is probably the most well known too.⠀ ⠀ Dear Annie by Rejjie Snow ⠀ ⠀ The long awaited debut album by Rejjie Snow- a 23 year old who's already toured with Madonna and had Lily Rose Depp star in his music video.⠀ ⠀ Inflammable Material by Stiff Little Fingers⠀ ⠀ The 1979 Stiff Little Fingers debut- Inflammable Material offers precious insight into what being a teenager in Ireland in the seventies was really like.⠀ ⠀ Lunacy EP by Bonzai ⠀ ⠀ The Mura Masa collaborator hotly tipped as one to watch for some time now- Bonzai's Lunacy EP is definitely one to check out to stay ahead of the game.⠀ ⠀
