?Anna Peters our Sam Villa ArTeam Member took a moment to share with us how she built her very own tribe!
Over a year a half ago I made the big decision to open my own salon. It was a scary big leap, but I could not deny the signs that pointed me down this path. I had the desire to provide a happy place where people can come for a period of time and they can be taken care of and waited on, in a crazy world they could escape and be treated to the best hair care from the most genuine, caring and passionate stylists.
I was careful with how I built my tribe. It was important that we desired the same culture, that we shared the same morals and work ethics for how we would treat our clients and that we believe in No Drama to. I wanted to make sure the stylists were as passionate about growth and education as I was. Before I knew it my salon was filled with a team of stylists that were as excited and passionate as I was. We had our tribe. The doors opened and since then we have only grown and had more fun than we could’ve imagined. But most importantly every client who comes in comments on how great the energy is and how much they enjoy being there. My team and our salon is a dream come true. I am so grateful that I took the leap and followed my heart!
