Last week, Eastern Quolls were re-introduced to the mainland after being wiped out by foxes in the 1960s. Taronga’s Dr Karrie Rose and Jane Hall had a big role to play in ensuring the 20 Eastern Quolls brought from Tasmania were fit and healthy. It was their job to make sure the Quolls will have the best chances of survival in their new environment in Booderee National Park.

Taronga was really proud to be part of this project, alongside partners like @rewildingoz and @wwf_australia. Funding from our Taronga Field Grant Program has also gone towards the installation of cameras within Booderee, which are helping to monitor any potential threats. Good luck, little Quolls!

A big thank you to @wwf_australia for this fantastic footage.
