I was unsure of how to have a conversation with someone I’ve never met. DJ made it so easy to talk. Donna and I spent nearly an hour with DJ and the conversation had no quiet spots which you would expect when you first meet someone. It was so cool that he took the time to talk about his ‪Eddie Van Halen‬ Guitar. He knew every minute detail that went in to the guitar, down to why a piece of tape lined up with the amp connection which I had no idea even existed. I felt like Donna and I could talk to DJ about anything which we did. Music, what drove his success in his businesses, and life in general. We even saw eye to eye on many things, such as not holding yourself above others and remembering that in the end, we’re people, and that we should all treat each other with respect. Donna, I can’t remember the line he said about you all working for him. We both got a kick out of it. Beatriz, Donna and I want to thank you so much for everything, done to allowing me to keep everything at the store until Donna and I finished dinner. You made it so easy, Donna and I really appreciated it. Thank you for making us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in the store. Finally, please make sure that DJ understands how much Donna and I wanted to go to the comedy show, but we were really hungry and had reservations at the restaurant above. I wish we would have gone as I had a few questions I forgot to ask about Goretorium. If I could, I would go back and finish what I forgot to ask, ha, ha. Also, thank you DJ for jamming on the guitar and explaining the details as to why Schecter is your signature guitar. * * How many Dj ASHBA guitars do you own? This is my first DJ Ashba Guitar. * What do you remember most? I will remember how down to earth DJ was and watching his fingers fly around the frets. Mostly, I will remember how DJ took the time to answer all my questions and that he really is a guy that built himself up from the bottom up and treats people as he would want to be treated.
