I spent time in South Africa with Dr Brenna Henn of Stony Brook University for the @ナショナルジオグラフィック special issue on race out this month. Dr Henn’s work on the genetic diversity of the KhoeSan corroborates archaeological evidence pointing to southern Africa as the origins of modern humans. In this issue we report on the origins of scientific racism and how it has defined society as we know it. #IDefineMe.
