Today I went to visit with Georgine. She’s under the weather, so we sat around her dining room table and I admired her Easter placemats and pictures of her grandchildren (and great grand children) in their Easter finest. She told me I reminded her of her oldest granddaughter. I said, “Oh! How so?” And she told me, “She’s full of life. She goes her own way and doesn’t let people her what to do.” Recalling that moment now I’m reminded again (and again and again) how lucky we are to have her in our lives. Time with her is priceless and so meaningful. ❤️
