The eight-day festival of #Passover begins at sundown tonight, marked with the #SederFeast! In Hebrew the celebration is known as Pesach (meaning to pass over). Artist Bernard Cohen likens the unpredictable scatter of forms that grow within his paintings to that of the Seder feast. As a Jew, his experience of the Passover meal gave him a heightened sense that shared meals can have complex meanings. Cohen intended the colours to clash, as much as the personalities around the Seder table.
