Our final drive in Tanzania, this time to the little plane and the dirt airstrip. We thanked our new friends, got on board and as we took off heavy tears were rolling down my face. I didn’t want to leave. There is something about this continent that makes me feel alive and insignificant in the most beautiful way. Every time I leave I feel changed. I’m so grateful for this time here, this adventure with my son, this dose of reality and perspective. Africa, I will most definately be back.
