A lot of people have the misconception that feminism is solely about ‘hating men’ in a system where it actually makes complete sense to hold resentment towards the very group that oppress you. Men need feminism because feminism seeks to deconstruct a system that would rather drive men to suicide than speaking up.
Women are forced to exist in a misogynistic society. We are sexualised by men then punished by men for making a living off being sexualised by men. You do not have to ‘nicely’ tell your oppressor to stop oppressing you. Also, if you think misandry harms men, you need to learn about power dynamics in order to understand how oppression works.“ ™@theslumflower
