? What if we already HAVE IT ALL? ?
Gosh there’s so much I wanna say, so imana try & condense it.. ? Alright so I never wanna be preachy but I do LOVE sharing what is important to me!! ? Here me out.. I grew up feeling like I had to earn God’s love & forgiveness, it was always a matter of proving myself & my worth, taking the necessary steps, being “perfect”, doing everything *right*, .. & as crazy as it may sound; in a way, I was living out of fear.. for ex: I need to do this or else ?- - after lots of conversations, books, community, and just overall time I realized that:
• I was born with my worth - it’s not something I have to earn. • Jesus died for our sins and wants us to be happy!! Regardless of where we’re at or what we’ve done, we are forgiven. He’s ALREADY paid that price so we don’t have to live with that weight. • I want to live out of LOVE NOT FEAR. BECAUSE I am so loved BECAUSE I am a daughter of God, THAT is why I live the way I do; the reason I want to give & serve. ? It’s not an obligation but a gift to be alive and to act out of gratitude. ? *this was a huge perspective shift for me* • We are human & flawed but that’s what makes life so beautiful!!! We all mess up but that’s okay, that’s real, that’s life. ❤️

I think there’s this stigma that we have to have it all together and to put on this facade of perfection but it’s those deep conversations, those vulnerable moments that really connect us & bring us together. All in all, WE HAVE IT ALL: all the love, all the forgiveness, all the worth, all the beautiful things God sees in us. It seems too easy to believe and accept, but it’s ALREADY ours. ? • I just wanted to take a second and let you know whoever you are, whatever you’re going through - YOU ARE LOVED & YOU ARE ENOUGH!!! ❤️ #HappyEaster #HeIsRisen ??
