Winter doesn’t seem to be releasing its grip on New York. But if you’re looking for spring, you can at least experience nature’s warm-weather beauties at the @ニューヨーク植物園’s annual #OrchidShow. The show was created by @ostdaniel, a Belgian floral designer who was granted unprecedented access to the garden’s collection: more than 6,000 orchids representing 2,273 types from all over the world. “And then I went overboard,” he said. “It was fantastic to find out that some of the plants exhibited now never left the true collection and are for the first time seen by the public.” To that collection, @ostdaniel has applied the wizardry that has led Europeans to call him “the Picasso of flower arranging.” Just don’t ask him to name his favorites — that would be like demanding that he choose between children. @dollyfaibyshev captured some warmth for you at the #NewYorkBotanicalGarden.
