We'd like to say 'thank you' and 'job well done' to Lacy, a retiring TSA explosive detection canine. Born in 2009, Lacy spent her entire career with TSA Handler Diana Kremer. Lacy and Diana were part of TSA’s inaugural passenger screening canine course held at Auburn University. They graduated in 2011 to become one of the first certified passenger screening canine teams. It is estimated Lacy screened more than 1 million passengers in her career. While Lacy is a finicky eater (but enjoys baby carrots and peanut butter), she loves all animals and even snuggles with the household cat.
