Artist #ChrisBurden was born #OTD in 1946.
"Chris Burden: Extreme Measures" was staged at the museum in 2014, only a year before the artist passed away. Burden's work occupied all five floors of the museum, as well as our building's exterior. The work "Ghost Ship" remained on our facade for years, and the "Twin Quasi Legal Skyscrapers" still remain on our roof.
