I think this idea of ‘loving yourself first’
Has bred
and fed into the narcissist culture.
I accept myself.
With all my flaws
I even hate myself at times -
I prefer and it’s natural for me to love others.
I am hypercritical of myself.
and,
feel off track at times,
lost -
This is not depression -
it’s just human.
We get depressed when we can’t express love -
outwardly -
When we aren’t helping others
like we could be.
This has nothing to do with money,
or circumstances.
We all have the ability to make someone smile.
