Manchester, United Kingdom Yep Roc Records recording artist Robyn Hitchcock confirms UK shows in support of his acclaimed 21 st studio album. It will be the first time that Robyn will play the UK with a full live band since 2014. The lineup for his band, suitably named “HIS LA SQUIRES” first came together in April of this year with a performance at Los Angeles’ Troubadour. Luther Russell, takes duties as the second guitar player, Tony Buchen, comes in on bass guitar, and Robyn is reunited with Mark “Empire” Sheppard who first played with him in London in 1982. Says Robyn… “London and Manchester! 40 glorious years of my song from Cambridge to Nashville rocked your way by me and my band, the LA Squires. These are my first electric shows in Britain for 5 years and will be followed by a string of solo dates to be announced soon; the first since 2015. Be there or beware!“
