Very very very, proud to announce that today is the first day of principal photography on the next feature film that I will be working on called @thecubanmovie . It has been a long road to making this film with such an incredible team behind it that is just beaming with passion. The films stars are women, @theanagolja @saghdashloo , this films cinematographer is a woman @celiboy22 , this film was written by a woman, @sashascreenwriter , this films make up artist is a woman @quiggysmalls , this films script supervisor is a woman @jennyfrommclauch , the films production designer is a woman @ciaravernon and the list goes on and on. I am so proud to be apart of a project that champions the incredible artistry of women and supports their growth and success in our industry. I am going from one #girlpower production to another ??‍♀️??. This film also stars the incredible oscar winner #lougossettjr . This film tells a story about the elder community while touching on #Alzheimers disease and #Dementia . This film also tells a story of people from Afghanistan ?? and champions them on screen as the culturally rich, artistic, and intelligent people that they are, and unfortunately are too few represented on screen. I get to make this film with a lot of friends and artists I have come to know quite well and couldn’t be more thrilled to be telling this very important story.
