Laurie Adams, CEO of @womenforwomen , just visited some of the women’s programs in DRC. Here’s a photo of some of the women collecting their money from one of their savings groups; they got $40 in interest. These grassroots efforts to diversify local economies and allow investment in small businesses are changing women’s lives, and it’s really simple. Not easy, but simple.
