Happy #EarthDay my fellow inhabitants! The center of my morals, beliefs and standard of living has always been that of what Native Hawaiian culture and tradition stand for. That it’s our kuleana (responsibility) to malama ka 'aina (respect and care for the land). Stewardship of natural resources, leaving something better than how you found it even. The truth is that every single one of us descend from tribes and have this inherent human nature that’s nurturing, honorable, committed. Somewhere along the line also of our nature where the survival instinct dominates, I think that we found ourselves competing, and propelling faster than we could handle as we continued to discover the lengths of what we are capable of. Convenience and instant gratification became luxuries, that we trade for with our health and dignity. I’m so proud to see now more than ever though, this mega trend of wellness and worth. I’m confident things will only get better and that you all will continue to contribute only amazing things!
