Photo @Keith Ladzinski / A #greatblueheron perched in the mangroves at sunset taking a break from fishing. I approached this bird completely underwater, with nothing but my snorkel sticking out. I’d be crazy if I said it didn’t see me, but any sudden movements would have for sure scared it away so moving slow was key. Poking my underwater housing out of the water was tricky because the last thing I wanted to do was stir up any sediment in the shallow water. The bird allowed me to take a few photos before flying away, leaving me with a smile and this photo. Photographed on #CatIsland #Bahamas.
