On this day we remember the service and sacrifice of our ANZACs. Past, present and future. I had the honour of portraying Lt. Col. Cyril Hughes in The Water Diviner. He was the head of the Graves Registration Unit at Gallipoli in the aftermath of WWI. Gruesome work for even the bravest of souls. A bravery shared by the men and women who’ve fought and served, some for the last time, in the names of Australia and New Zealand. Wish I was playing two-up today at the RSL! I’ll be there in spirit.
