A little #bluesday inspiration from #bkmasianart: Ceramacist Jun Nishida combined nature and chance in his sculptures, creating abstract objects by emulating natural process with earth and fire. This organic work balances two sides, the outer layer of smooth greenish blue celadon and the raw, chalky, unfired porcelain, too deep in the object when it was fired to harden all the way. His use of celadon references the history of fine blue celadons in Japan, yet the application is contemporary and conceptual. #infinitebluebkm ?⠀
