Jumping for joy because there's finally a statue of a woman in Parliament Square. ?
This morning @honeykinny and I took a little trip to see it for ourselves. Millicent Fawcett was a suffragist who fought for women's right to vote 100 years ago. Also, the coolest thing about the statue is that it was built after Caroline Criado Perez launched an online petition in 2016 after noticing during a run through Westminster that there were no statues of women in Parliament Square. It shows one person can make a difference! I'm wearing my Code Red @egaliteeshirts, which helps support period poverty. ❤️
