#montgomery #alabama Opened this week, the Lynching Memorial is made out of 800 weathered steel slabs hanging from the ceiling. At eye level you can read the names, places and dates of lynchings taken place across the US. As you walk through the floor slopes and the slabs now hang ominously above the visitors. #lynchingmemorial #thecloudofcrimespast
