I wrote this song I've called Marathon on this piano which is in a house located on the actual grounds where the battle of Marathon took place. I think this song came from the spirit of the land as I wrote the words in English within 30 minutes & then my friend translated the words to Greek. I wrote the Greek out how I could pronounce it then we recorded, Please forgive any mispronunciations The words in English are - : They arrived on the beach in great numbers. We stood in a line as one. Our hearts beating proudly under the sun of Marathon. This land has never seen such a battle. The wind carrying the war cries like a song. Their actions will always be remembered here, under the sun of Marathon. Greece stood united, A soldier delivered the news, We won at Marathon!
