Wallpaper* took a tour of the Bungehuis in Amsterdam. The landmark 1937 property is currently being transformed into a members club by @sohohouse Originally built as a trading office the six-storey art deco property served as a university building from the 1970s. Existing details include bronze-framed windows, an entrance with art deco sculptures and an interior with tropical timber and Delft tiles. The new club will include 79 hotel rooms, a gym, screening room, members restaurant, Cowshed spa and a Cecconi’s.
