When the humble zip becomes a work of art… In the 1930s the Duchess of Windsor had the idea of a necklace which could be zipped and worn as a bracelet. She mentioned it to Renée Puissant, then artistic director of Van Cleef & Arpels and two decades later, the jewellery house produced the first of what would become an iconic piece. This fabulous #zipnecklace from the 50s, adorned with #diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds is accompanied by beautiful matching ear clips.
