I woke up and received a very exciting message from one of my favourite porcelain artist @nobuhiko.tanaka in Japan.

If you are a foodie you may have heard of a restaurant called NOMA. Well, it turns out that the chef of NOMA @thomasfrebel will open a new (permanent) restaurant in Tokyo INUA, and @nobuhiko.tanaka ‘s 350 pieces of dishes and vase will be used at this restaurant.

I have been collecting his pieces since 2011. Every time I accomplished something at work, I would treat myself a piece from his collection so all of what is in this picture means something to me. And I use it on a daily basis for my home cooked meals.

Food is culture and “Washoku” (Japanese cuisine) is recorded on the list of the World's Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Food presentation is also very important in Japan. So I am very happy and excited for him. I hope to meet him one day…
And also eat at @inuajp if I ever can get a chance for booking ? hahaha.

大好きな作家さんからメールをいただき、嬉しさで興奮がおさまりません。いつかInuaでお食事とともに作品を堪能したいです。まー、今年の予約は取れませんね。一年後？の予約かな。。
