True story : Keeping this lavender hair color from fading is an almost entirely fruitless endeavor, but I do have a few tips to share - 1. Know your hair. I spent over 8 hours bleaching my hair with my girl @alexis.vk and we spent another hour using the “la la lavender” permanent @sparkscolor to get the right lavender hue. However the joke was on me because the color faded the next day and I was left with grey hair. I found that the semi-permanent @manicpanicnyc color actually stays in my hair much longer. - 2. Not all colors are created equal. I can tell you both from personal experience and anecdotal evidence that my pink hair was far easier to maintain than this lavender. I don’t know why. I don’t know how. I do know that my pink hair was a lot less maintenance. - 3. If you’re willing to give this look a go, I highly recommend you stock pile the color you want and apply it to dry, clean hair. I use one full jar of @manicpanicnyc “Purple Haze” mixed with a full jar of @manicpanicnyc “Pastel-izer”. I let it sit in my hair for at least 30 minutes and rinse out with purple shampoo and conditioner. Hope this helps everyone who has messaged me asking for advice on achieving this ? hair. #lilachair
