Photograph by @Cristina Mittermeier // A leopard seal patrols an iceberg on which a group of fledging penguins, on their first swim out to sea, have become stranded. As the standoff between “predator and prey” played out I found myself cheering at times for the cute penguins, and at times for the hungry seal.
