My interest in technology applied to musical production goes back to my youth: when I was a kid, I set a homemade recording studio and started to follow the development of this field, both for pop and classical music. To me, recording a CD is still a valuable thing to do. It’s a way to point the steps of my artistic career. Moreover, the technologies of the new millennium offer a far more immersive quality of sound, which is closer to real life. Few activities engage me more than the tailor-made work of a recording studio, among mixers and microphones, where a piece of music slowly takes shape.

La mia passione per la tecnologia applicata alla produzione sonora risale alla prima giovinezza: da ragazzo mi ero costruito uno studio di registrazione casalingo, seguendo poi, negli anni, l’evoluzione del settore, sia in ambito pop che classico. La registrazione di un CD per me ha ancora un valore importante, è un modo per scandire le tappe del mio percorso artistico. La tecnologia del nuovo millennio, inoltre, offre un tipo di ascolto estremamente più coinvolgente e più vicino alla realtà. Poche attività mi avvincono più del meticoloso lavoro d’arte e d’artigianato, quando sono nella “stanza dei bottoni” tra mixer e microfoni, laddove lentamente prende forma un brano musicale.
