In 2017 I made some fairly life changing and questionable decisions... rooting my whole life up from London and moving across the world to LA, making a new music at a time when I wasn’t sure if I’d ever write again never mind If anyone wanted to hear it, choosing to work with only female/ femme collaborators, self funding and releasing everything, through to building a whole new live show... there were definitely moments I wondered if I was losing my mind. So it’s pretty wonderful to see this interview in probably the most prestigious publication of my new home city the @latimes that so eloquently and precisely sums up exactly what I’ve been trying to do, who I am and where I’m at right now, and in some way validate those crazy choices !
