If you have never beared witness before I urge you to do so. Although one of the toughest days of my life I flew to Toronto, Canada to come face to face with these innocent beings moments before they went to the slaughterhouse. Although I wasn’t emotionally prepared, I knew I had to go. The moment you look into their eyes you feel that connection, you can feel their pain, they are scared, confused, some suffering badly covered in blood from being beaten or thrown around in these crowed trucks with no mercy given at all. Treated like an object. It’s not right. They don’t deserve this. It was heartbreaking to see. I am not forcing my beliefs on to anyone. I’m just making you all aware of what is happening when you purchase meat.
I know some of you don’t care, but since they have no voice or no choice I will continue to stand up for them, and I will continue to fight for what I believe in, as we all should. 💔 #bearwitness #vegan #compassion #maketheconnection @thesavemovement .
