Yeah I’m posting myself, not cause I think this is a big fish, I don’t do it often but wanted to make a point (@jsullivan337 personal account if you want to follow my odd adventures). This past year has been full of so many changes for me, if you know me personally you are aware. Not only have there been changes in my life, I’ve made some changes on the water. Fishing is my escape/therapy, honestly it’s we’re I do my best thinking, and like everything I do I want to be the best or at least try. Sooo....I’m having one of my better springs in regards to fishing, last spring I was lucky if I caught one bass on a given day. Why am I doing better this year? Cause I made the decision to listen to others and try new things, baits and techniques that I was not a custom too cause I was scared to step out of my comfort zone. I got this long skinny girl the other day on a jig, with a baitcaster (was always intimidated of the thought of using them.) The end of last year I focused many of my outings on just practicing with a jig/baitcaster, listening to my friend Barry @camarabarry or Amy @amyjbasslady - spent a lot of time fixing birds nest, missing hooksets etc. This spring I continued to practice, now I am seeing results. The moral of this story, step out of your comfort zone, don’t be stubborn, change isn’t always bad, yes sometimes stressful but it’s honestly worth it.
