Hey y’all I’m Helena, my husband and I are the owners and farmers of @happyacrefarm .
We’re both first generation farmers, growing vegetables outside of the Bay Area in California.
I fell in love with farming in my early 20’s and was determined to start my own. Fast forward to present day, my husband and I are in our 5th season of running our farm.
Its been a lot of hard work, long hours and some steep ass learning curves; but we love hard work, the sun rises and sun sets those long hours include, and getting to work outside.
No matter how tired or dirty we are at the end of the day, there’s no place we’d rather be.
There’ve been a lot of changes around the farm recently, we added acreage, hired a crew and had a baby boy.
