MoMA’s Friends of Education joined artist and curator Mickalene Thomas (@mickalenethomas), and art consultant and collector Racquel Chevremont (@racquelchevremont) at Thomas’s Brooklyn studio for a conversation with Jasmine Wahi (@browngirlcurator) on the pair’s new venture, Deux Femmes Noires. @deuxfemmesnoires is an outlet to support emerging artists of color, and specifically women artists of color, by giving them resources to navigate the business of art and creating spaces for their work to be exhibited.
