When I was 16, my rock band Stomp on Melvin wanted to go on tour. All the other members of my band were 18 year old boys so when I asked my parents if I could go, they said absolutely not. However My mom offered that I could go if... she could go too. I was mortified but long story short, several weeks later my me, my mom and my band began our 2 week, tri-state tour. She slept on the floor and on couches (we were staying at friends houses), she ran the Merch booth, and she even drove her own car behind us so I could feel like I was on a rock tour. Looking back now that I'm an adult, I can't believe she would do that for me. My mom is the real rockstar.
