Happy Mother’s Day!

母の日おめでとうございます！

I was hoping to not including me in one of these photos, but since I haven’t been home for so long, I used up all the photos of my family I found last time I was there. It’s time to visit. But also, seeing how happy my mom looks in it, this photo always worked as a reminder to take care of myself as well as whatever I choose to do with my life should keep that smile on her face. (Edit) P.S. - I was just walking down the street and saw a teenage kid walking with his mom, possibly for Mother’s Day, and he said “It’s kinda chilly” and his mom said “I know! Do you want my jacket?” as she takes it off without missing a beat or seems without even thinking, when she herself only had a shirt underneath. The love of the mother... We better appreciate it.
