So last Saturday was the day. I have been invited to design the 1000th costume of Manneken Pis in honour of the 60th anniversary of the Atomium. I thought about the silver of the atomium. I thought about the fireworks that were happening every night during expo 58 and their reflection on the metal. This very positive feeling about the future at that time. I wanted to bring back all this in a contemporary way and celebrate our little peeing boy as an Icon of our city.
