We made in to Sweden!?? How is it that every time we travel I question my life choices and decide we are NEVER going on a plane again... But then we go do it all over again?? Dear God. Luni had a high fever all day and is mega teething (I think teeth further back in her mouth - are those worse?) so this trip was something special. Every challenge with her makes me question everything, not so much because of whatever struggles we have because all things considered they are minor, but because it pains me so to see her suffer. I want her to feel perfectly happy and content all the time and when she is sick and cranky I want to teleport myself back to our home and our routines in Aruba? - but this is not how life works. Babies cry because they are supposed to and the idea of an all-the-time happy perfect life IS NOT REAL. And whenever I share a tricky moment I always have people telling me I’m “complaining” and “I should be more grateful” - like struggling through something, large or small, and sharing your feelings in the moment while also being grateful for the blessings you have can’t both exist at once. Sometimes I feel like I see so many moms on social media that just have it all together and they travel the world like a breeze and everything looks so easy. But I know none of that is true and I thank god for moms like @jenpastiloff who tell it like it is every damn day. Thank god for Jen. No bullshit motherhood! Also, thank god for @infinitesourceyoga @lizarch @orothschild @bluewaterlove @supermodelmomma1 @jetsetmama @thordiselva @oh_thathippiemomwlotsofkids and every mama out there that tells it like it is❤️? Now, sleep. No, food. Indian food!
