1 week and 20 years ago, the iMac was launched by my HERO, Steve Jobs. There’s not a single day that I don’t stop to think how the world would be if he was still alive. He used to say that “We’re here to put a dent in the Universe. Otherwise, why else even be here?” And that’s what I try to do every day. I use other words though, that mean the same thing: “Let’s do it for the Spirit.” He was accused of being a tyrant as a boss but how else will you get ordinary people to become extraordinary? That’s what most people don’t understand. They only see their present state of being, not their ultimate potential, but extraordinary people have a vision that is able to see everything, and that was obviously the case with Steve Jobs. Obviously, he had tons of incredible successes, tons, but in my opinion, the culmination of all his achievements, the reason for his Existence, was the App Store, because he gave Power to the people. Just think of this: After creating Apple, then creating the first computers, then coming out with the notebooks, then the iPod, then the iPhone, Apple created a platform to give everyday people the opportunity to develop apps based on their own imagination and creativity. This, in my opinion is the most revolutionary idea that has ever happened on this Planet. How many millions of apps are out there: Facebook, Instagram, Shazam, Waze, Uber, Twitter, Snapchat, Yelp, WhatsApp, Tinder, plus literally, millions more. This is the vision of one Human being that was able to inspire millions (If not billions). Plus, he was a cool guy. So Steve, wherever you may be, Papa Bear misses you. I still have to name one of my babies after you but I’m waiting for the right time...
